Different methods of earning commission for a poker affiliate

The enchanting and dynamic game of poker has thousands of fans and loyal players all across the world. Earlier all the players’ beginners and experts would make their way to the eminent casinos to play the game of poker to earn money and fame.

New players added to the poker rooms increases the popularity and traffic of the poker room. Poker rooms hire poker affiliates to do this task and in return, huge sums of money are earned by poker affiliates for their referrals. In, fact it is a very lucrative means of earning money sitting at home. All you need to do is network with the right people.

Miscellaneous poker rooms have diverse means of earnings for a poker affiliate. One of the most widespread methods is called CPA that refers to the phrase cost per affiliation. This very simple method gives you a fixed amount ($75-$200) depending on the popularity of the poker room. Many frauds have happened in the past that has caused losses to poker rooms as new players that were introduced by poker affiliates. Why would a poker room pay a poker affiliate a lump sum if the player is not active and definite amount of rake has not been generated that meet the needs of the poker room.

Another method of earning for poker affiliates is the MGR or revenue sharing method. This method is a very time-consuming method and requires a lot of patience. A poker affiliate gets a fixed percentage of the rake that is generated by all the new players introduced by an affiliate to the online poker room. This is a very lucrative means of earning money, as a percentage of the rake generated by each player will be deposited in your account.

How does a poker affiliate decide which is a better method to earn more money. Just as a coin has, two sides the same applies for these two methods .If you carefully observe then the negatives associated to CPA makes earnings very easy and at the same time tough for poker affiliates. The new players introduced by you should be active and the amounts earned by them are paltry then you may bid goodbye to $100 per referral as the manager can cancel the credits earned by you, as the poker room is not benefiting from the addition of these new players. A poker affiliate should know that CPA will never be a lucrative deal and you cannot earn more than the worth of the players that are introduced to the poker room.

Poker affiliates are a boon in disguise for the poker rooms as they generate more business by introducing new players in the existing system. This increases the popularity and the traffic of the site, tournaments are the best ways to make loads of money for the rooms, and poker affiliates both.

There are many beloved poker players who come from the Netherlands, some very highly regarded in the poker community. One recently well-known poker player from the Netherlands is Rob Hollink, who took home three wins from the 2008 WSOP, one of which was first place in Event #30, the World Championship Limit Hold ‘em. He also placed 15th in Event #19 Pot-Limit Omaha and 22nd in Event #50 World Championship Pot-Limit Omaha.

Another rising star from Amsterdam in the poker world is Noah Boeken, born in 1981. Like many other professional poker players from all parts of the world, his strategy skills came from excelling in the game Magic: The Gathering, which prepped him for a successful career in poker. His big break came from his 1st place win at the 2005 Scandinavian Open when he took down Ram Vaswani for almost $200K.
Boeken is often called Mini-Marcel after his mentor, fellow Dutchman and intercontinental poker champion, Marcel Luske, who is probably the most well-known of Dutch poker players. Luske is also known as the “Flying Dutchman” as he started out playing poker all over Europe, flying from city to city to compete in tournaments. Luske is an avid player at many high-stakes live events and a winner of millions of dollars. This classy poker giant, also from Amsterdam, is the definition of poker etiquette and his stylish air is pleasantly complemented by his acute sense of humor, known for breaking out in song at the tables and wearing upside down sunglasses. Being an older poker player gives him an edge against the young guns that populate the tables these days. He approaches poker with respect and in 2001 was ranked as the number one player in Europe, later to be European Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004. In 2008, he ranked as 150th on the Player of the Year list, up from 884th in 2007. Needless to say, he’s not new to poker.
Luske taught Boeken that there is a place for modesty and respect for yourself and others in poker and in life, in general. Luske has been called “Poker’s Roving Ambassador” for the goodwill he exhibits among his opponents. He embodies the honorable character of the region he represents and teaches Boeken to do the same. These two players are seen together often, representing the past, present, and future of Netherlands poker. Both of these poker players from the Netherlands are proud of the role they have played in Dutch poker, as well as global poker. They have a huge Dutch following, and many of their fans are inspired by them enough to follow in their footsteps. Luske, especially, has done a great job promoting poker as a rather admirable job in the Netherlands.

‘Hoss_TBF’ may have won some money back on this hand. Flopping bottom pair was good enough for a call, and turning three of a kind, or trips, was good enough for ‘Hoss’ to play to see a river, which made the winning full house to take down the following hand.

Eila’s roll continued by taking down a $12,000 hnd with a full boat.

‘Eila’ continued taking down big hands, this time check raising the flop that made the player three of a kind. Rivering a full house led to ‘Eila’ taking down another big hand, this one also for $12,000.

‘Hoss_TBF’ tried to stop the losing streak, and did a good job here. As mentioned early, quads were showed twice tonight, once here. Flopping three three’s should have assured ‘Hoss’ that they were holding the winning hand. However, just for good measure, the last three in the deck fell on the turn, giving ‘Hoss’ quads to take down the following pot.

No one said poker didn’t have a luck factor. Here, we see what leads to a winning session sometimes: cracking kings with 9-6 off-suit. ‘Eila’ flopped a middle pair of nines, while ‘Hoss’ held two kings, for an overpair to the board. A six fell on the turn to give ‘Eila’ two pair, which turned out to be good enough to win the following hand worth $12,000.

It drew very well with a prize pool of over $1.5 million. Here, the Texas holdem poker action is down to the final four where the players agreed to a chop that left $30,000 to the winner. Player ‘usourcek‘ would only agree to the deal if he was given an extra $5,000. Chip leader at the time, ‘annekechillo‘ agreed to take $5,000 out of his cut to calm ‘usourcek’ and the deal was finalized. The numbers are below.
